At One Call Detailing, our Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating service is designed for vehicle owners who demand the best in gloss, durability, and long-term protection. We exclusively use Gtechniq’s Crystal Serum Light (CSL) + EXO V5 two-layer ceramic system—a world-class coating combo trusted by professional detailers and luxury car owners worldwide. This service not only protects your paint but dramatically enhances its appearance by correcting imperfections, adding insane slickness, and repelling contaminants like water, dirt, and road grime. Please keep in mind that this service is done at our studio and is typically a 2 day service start to finish. (pickup and drop-off is available for an additional fee*)

  • Base Coat: Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) – Bonds to your paint for long-lasting chemical and UV resistance with incredible gloss and swirl resistance.

  • Top Coat: Gtechniq EXO V5 – Adds extreme slickness, water beading, and additional protection from the elements.

THE PROCESS

​​The Process (2 Days Start to Finish):

  1. Thorough Pre-Wash & Decontamination

    • Foam bath, iron remover, clay bar treatment to strip away all surface contaminants.

  2. Paint Correction

    • Two step machine compound and polishing to restore clarity and eliminate imperfections.

  3. Surface Prep

    • Panel wipe to remove any oils or residues for optimal coating bonding.

  4. Ceramic Coating Application

    • Hand-applied Crystal Serum Light followed by EXO V5 topcoat.

  5. Cure Time

    • Each vehicle remains indoors in our studio a full 24 hours for proper curing. Avoid washing for 7 days.

Why Paint Correction?

Before applying a ceramic coating, we perform a multi-stage paint correction to eliminate:

  • Holograms and buffer trails

WARRANTY

Why We DO NOT Include a Written Warranty:

At One Call Detailing, we believe in transparency and integrity over marketing gimmicks. While many ceramic coating brands or installers advertise warranties, these often come with strict maintenance requirements, fine-print exclusions, and mandatory annual inspections—which can be used to deny claims or require costly “maintenance fees.”

Instead of offering a warranty we can’t fully control due to factors like:

  • Improper washing or automatic car washes

  • Environmental exposure (sap, sprinklers, acid rain)

  • Vehicle usage (daily driving vs. garage-kept)

  • Lack of proper aftercare by the vehicle owner

—we focus on delivering a properly prepped and professionally applied coating that is proven to last when cared for correctly.

  • We educate every customer on proper care and aftercare

  • We offer professional maintenance washes and check-ins if desired

PROPER CARE & MAINTENANCE

Proper Care & Maintenance After Ceramic Coating

To get the most out of your Gtechniq ceramic coating, it’s essential to follow proper care guidelines. While ceramic coatings dramatically reduce the need for frequent detailing and waxing, routine maintenance is still important to keep your finish looking its best.

✅ First 7 Days (Cure Period):

  • Do not wash or expose the vehicle to soaps or detergents

  • Avoid parking under trees or near sprinklers

  • If the vehicle gets dirty or wet, rinse gently with water and dry with a clean microfiber towel

🧽 Ongoing Maintenance Tips:

  • Wash every 2–3 weeks using the two-bucket method or a quality foam cannon

  • Use a pH-neutral soap designed for coated vehicles (avoid dish soap or harsh cleaners)

  • Always use clean microfiber towels or wash mitts—never sponges

  • Dry using soft microfiber drying towels or a blower to reduce the risk of swirls

  • Avoid automatic car washes with brushes—they can damage the coating and clear coat

🚫 What to Avoid:

  • Abrasive cleaners, degreasers, or polishes not intended for coated surfaces

  • Letting bird droppings, sap, bug guts, or hard water sit—clean these ASAP

  • Using towels that are dirty, rough, or have dropped on the ground
